This website, www.salyant.co.uk, is operated by Salyant Ltd ("Salyant", "we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16837676. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.

Information we collect

We collect personal data in three ways:

• When you contact us. Our "Send an Inquiry" form asks for your name, work email address and message. Submissions are processed by our form provider, Formspree, and delivered to our inbox.
• When you book a call. Our "Book Strategy Call" scheduler is provided by Cal.com and embedded directly on this site. Booking a slot shares your name, email address, time zone and any details you enter with Cal.com and with Salyant.
• Automatically, if you consent to analytics cookies. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or other sensitive categories of personal data through this website.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit this site, a banner asks whether you'd like to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is recorded in your browser's local storage under the key salyant_cookie_consent.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for salyant.co.uk and reloading the page.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on: consent for analytics cookies; legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating this website professionally and securely; and performance of a contract where you engage us for services, or steps taken at your request before entering one.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with the following processors, only as needed to run this website and respond to you:

• Formspree — processes contact form submissions.
• Cal.com — processes meeting bookings made through our scheduler.
• Google Analytics — processes anonymised usage statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• GitHub — hosts the source files of this website. GitHub does not receive personal data you submit through the contact form or scheduler.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International transfers

Some of our processors (including Formspree, Cal.com and Google) are based in, or transfer data to, the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses, or the processor's own adequacy certification, to keep your data protected to a UK standard.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and booking data for as long as needed to respond to you and, where a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus a period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@salyant.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

Children's data

This website and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
